A Championship Layout with Stunning Ria Formosa Views
Quinta de Cima, neighboring Quinta da Ria, is another gem in the Eastern Algarve. Designed by Howard Swan and opened in 1990, this par-72 course is renowned for its challenging layout, natural beauty, and close integration with the Ria Formosa wetlands.
The course provides both a technical test and an aesthetic delight.

Key features of Quinta de Cima include:
* Varied terrain combining open fairways and tight, tree-lined corridors
* Strategic water hazards and well-placed bunkers
* Elevated tees offering panoramic views of the Ria Formosa
* Signature holes such as the par-3 14th, which plays over water to a well-protected green, and the finishing par-5 18th, a rewarding challenge for accurate golfers
Quinta de Cima is suitable for experienced players seeking a strategic and challenging round, yet remains enjoyable for mid-handicap golfers thanks to its thoughtful course design.
